This WEEK in Film....

I was putting all my clips together in the music video and I hate it. I realized that it is really hard to put the lip singing and the actual song at the same time. That is actually one of my pet peeves when I watch a music video and the words of the song do not match what they are lip singing. UGGH. So I finally figured it out that to make a music video that I am happy with it all has to be done in one shot. So I want to film that whole film over, but no worries. I have a stop motion idea for CHRISTMAS i'm feeling jolly. Iy has five different scenes and it is just the process of Christmas and all the stuff that comes with it. I actually have big expectation for it and I will have it all shot by monday so I can but it together. Putting the music video frustrated me and it made me really upset, but it also gave me ideas for other films that I want to do. I have three ideas for films and some of the scene scripted out, I just need to make it follow and they also need a beginning. I have another idea for a stop motion also it is Disney princess based and it is a poem. I also really need to work on my drawing skills for my stop motion.
THE END.

Weekly

So I finished filming all of my film this week, and I uploaded them. While uploading I took out all the things that would not work. I have everything label by how I will use them and by importance. I have all the clips, I just need to put them all together and I need to get the audio (i have it).  The audio has been perfected( her voice) still need the second part of the piano.
My stop motion I was getting it together during the weekend and While I was doing it, I was making a glitter jar with my sister and it tipped over and ruined everything. NO worries though I am restarting all of it today and hopefully I have it ready to film by Wednesday. (crossing my Fingers)

This Week. DunDun

This week I helped Wilma edit the last bits of stop motion for her film, I edited everything she gave me and she only needed one scene. UGH. Anyways I filmed, but i wasn't able to upload because all of the computers were being used. It is okay be this whole week we have off I am going to finish filming the music video. Yay. I also wrote another script, but I honestly do not know if its going to be done. For the music video, I just need to figure out how to do the whole dead flower part of the video. THe shots I shot were decent and I just need to fix a part of the song when Elizabeth sings the song because her IMPOSSIBLE and OOOOHHHH are not that good. She has been practicing so it will hopefully be better. The music video has both stop motion and normal filming. We shot it is stop motion, but when we practiced with film it looks like it will run more smoothly. :0
That's what I did this week.
OH, Wilma and I are also filming this week hopefully it will all get done.

Film

During this week Wilma and I worked on our script for the journey idea I had. I had that idea stuck in my head but couldn't get it out on paper and Wilma helped. She filmed the part that we needed with the baby and I just need to edit it together. I went to Elizabeth's house to film, but then I heard her sing and I changed my idea of the video to making it a music video where she actually sing and Francia will maybe play the piano for the dong. I have her voice already and we are filming the stop motion parts next week (this week). I did a stop motion of glitter and food coloring, I'm going to put that together to see how that turns out.

WEEK of NOV

This week I did not film, but i started to work on my props for a film I have planned I was thinking of combing the props with the journey one. The one i was supposed to film was held back because my actress was busy, but i began on the other one. The video is turning out to be a comedy and it is not going how I want it to go. :( But, I am really looking forward to filming the journey film and that might be my long one.

2012 Contest Rules
Books get pulled from library shelves and school curricula all the time because someone complains about the language they contain or the topics they address. Tell us about a time when parents, a teacher or some other adult was distressed at what you or someone you know were reading -- and wanted to take it away. You can also submit a film about or inspired by a book censorship incident from the news that involves students or other young people.
Entries can be videos of any kind, including documentary, animation, experimental, satire, fictional narrative, or music video. The winning film won't just speak to the topic -- it will tell a creative, engaging story about it. A great film will utilize film-making tools (even modest and simple ones!) to produce a flim that shares your voice in a way that is fresh, unique and compelling. Films must be under 4 minutes long to qualify.
Applications must be submitted (and films uploaded to YouTube) no later than Sunday, November 25, 2012. All films must be produced in 2012 and address the contest theme. Contestants must be either living in the U.S. or its territories (but need not be citizens), and must be age 19 or younger on the day the film is submitted. Films will be judged on content, artistic and technical merit, and creativity. Judges will be drawn from a panel of renowned writers, actors, and filmmakers.

Last week do over

Okay so last week I did my film on shoes, it is all done and edited and it looks pretty cool. The next film project I want to do is the Freddy Krueger film but I am thinking of doing it as a normal film but with some shots with stop motion.
